The Cassius blue is a small butterfly with pale blue wings. Underneath, its wings have stripes, which is why it is also called the tropical striped blue. It flutters around warm places in the Americas.

Its caterpillars can grow up on plumbago, a plant that is not related to the bean plants they usually eat.
