The stripe-tailed scorpion is a sandy-brown desert scorpion with dark stripes along its thick tail. It hides under rocks during the day and looks for damp spots. Its babies ride around on their mum's back.

Fun fact: this one is not an insect. It is an arachnid with eight legs, a cousin of the spiders.
