The Chinese moon moth is a big, beautiful moth with long curving tails on its back wings. Its body is very hairy and its head is small. It is a close cousin of the American luna moth.

What does it eat?
The grown-up moth has no working mouth and never eats. Its caterpillars eat leaves of camphor, sweetgum, hibiscus, Chinese tallow and willow.
