The wounded leafhopper is a tiny insect, only about 3 millimetres long. It has a yellow stripe along its back, and in summer it gets red and bluish marks on its wings. It loves grapevines and can turn their leaves spotty and pale.

What does it eat?
Both the babies and the grown-ups suck out the insides of leaves, most of all grapevine leaves. This leaves little white speckles on the leaf.
