Slender bluet

Enallagma traviatum

The slender bluet is a small blue damselfly with a very thin tail. It flutters along the edges of big ponds and lakes, especially where a forest is close by. Behind its eyes it has two big spots joined by a thin blue line.

The female has three blue rings at the end of her tail, with a black bar or T shape on one of them.
