Long-horned orbweaver

The long-horned orbweaver is a spider that looks like it is wearing a pair of giant curved horns. The female has a hard, shell-like back with two very long spines that bend towards each other. Her back can be yellow, red, white or black.

How fast is it?
Fun facts
Each of the two long spines can be about three times as long as the spider's back is wide.
The male is tiny, only about 1.5 millimetres long, and has short, stubby spines instead of long horns.
The female builds a round web that can be more than one metre wide, decorated with little white beads of silk.
The female often sits under a leaf next to her web instead of in the middle of it.
It needs old, untouched rainforest to live in.
