The black-headed jumping spider has a jet black head end and black front legs, with a long golden brown body behind. It has big, sharp eyes and hunts by jumping on its prey. It lives only in New Zealand and is often seen around homes.

Fun fact: spiders are not insects. Insects have six legs, spiders have eight. Everyone calls them bugs anyway!
