The ground wolf spider is a brown hunting spider that does not build a web to catch food. Instead it walks around on the ground at night and catches small animals. The female has a reddish back end, and the male has dark front legs.

Fun fact: spiders are not insects. Insects have six legs, spiders have eight. Everyone calls them bugs anyway!
