Desert grass spider

The desert grass spider lives in dry, sunny places. It builds a flat sheet of web with a tunnel at the back, like a slide leading into a tube. It waits in the tube and dashes out on its long legs when something lands on the web.

Fun fact: spiders are not insects. Insects have six legs, spiders have eight. Everyone calls them bugs anyway!
